We had a large party of 12 with children. They were very accommodating making the seating comfortable. We were even given a choice of a rectangular table or circular which was nice. Dinner was great and we weren't charged for the kids. Great overall and our waitress was friendly. Even took some great family photos towards the end View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Doc Bales' Grill:
The food was bland and honestly unpalatable. Additionally, it was visually unappealing. At the carving station, only a thin slice of over done prime rib is given, even when you ask for a second piece. The service was just ok. Beware though, they automatically charge a 20% gratuity in addition to adding a tip line with the suggested gratuity, so it’s like they’re double dipping. I honestly would have left more if they... Way overpriced for what honestly was a very much smaller version of a Golden Corral buffet
We made a reservation and when we arrived we were told that they did not open until 4:00 pm when we showed the the reservation @11:30 confirmed she dismissed us very rudely not my problem don’t care about your reservation inform your management about you website confirming reservations
Their buffet contained a wide variety of foods each one better than the last. Their Lo-Country Boil was outstanding chock full of shrimp, corn, potato etc. they had a Prime Rib carving station and unlike most, they had medium well available not just **** medium. The servers were on point with drinks and clearing dishes. They had a large selection of fish both baked and broiled as well as chicken and a full salad/fruit bar. Desserts included chocolate cakes, key lime pie, cookies and fresh whip cream. I would definitely recommend their dinner buffet.
