More amazing place, but put their expectations: it is a woman operation and she moves in her own pace. Do not come when they are in a hurry, and do not call her order in (she will probably not make it until they arrive.) but if they are in the mood to sit on a lunch table and watch how they cook amazing food while casually comment on the streets. I got the chicken chili with basil (aka pad Krapow/grapow,) and it was excellent. had a smoker taste than other versions I had. also: the spicy mirror is at the upper end. her medium is higher than the hottest at many Thai sites.

Oh. My. Goodness. This is the best Thai food I've ever had. We got Pork Satay, Thai Honey Chicken, and Chicken Pad Thai. It is a bit of a wait, seeing as it's only Ms Shoop making EVERYTHING from scratch, but it is soooo worth it. Definitely talk to her for some good laughs. I recommend getting a low number of spice, as she does not hold back. A wonderful hole in the wall restaurant, will be coming back!

White Lotus remains one of the finest dining spots in all of Dayton! The interior has not changed at all over the past 15 years, which sets it apart from other establishments in the city. The food is still exceptional, catering to every craving you might have. The Chicken Pad Thai was delightful, and the burgers are always a crowd-pleaser. Whenever I'm in town, I make it a point to visit, as it brings back fond memories of my college days. The owner greets everyone warmly, making guests feel like family. This place is truly special and holds a unique spot in the hearts of many.

I had a wonderful dining experience at a beautiful location in Dayton! As a fan of Thai cuisine, I was thrilled to see the sweetest lady preparing my order right in front of me, and she did it to perfection. My meal was served medium hot, which was just spicy enough to make me sweat! The Thai ice cream was delicious, and I enjoyed a refreshing drink with it. The restaurant is cozy and intimate, making it a great spot to eat. I highly recommend it!

My friend and I decided to stop by this restaurant after seeing some enticing pictures in the reviews. I can confidently say that it did not disappoint! Don't let the simple appearance fool you. The owner, a talented woman, truly knows her craft. If you're in a hurry or just impatient, this might not be the place for you, as everything is made fresh to order right in front of you. The ingredients—like the bell peppers, broccoli, and meat—looked amazing as they were being prepared. We had the Thai noodle soup, pepper steak, and honey Thai chicken, and everything was delicious. The food, along with the warm conversation and welcoming personality of the owner, gave it a cozy, home-cooked feel, reminiscent of a mother’s or grandmother’s kitchen.
