We loved Jay's, but the last two times we had eaten there was terrible. New cook? We will not return. We went to my birthday, sat in the middle of four big, thundering parties and couldn't hear us. The fried Calamari was muddy and had the consistency of oat flour. The Caesar Salat meh. Steak and chicken dishes were pretty good, but again the meal was ruined because my husband and I couldn't even have a conversation.... View all feedback.
J's is by far not only the best restaurant in Dayton, but quite honestly one of my favorite restaurants!! Eating is always on point the atmosphere is beautiful!! The staff is friendly, the bar serves amazing cocktails! What else do you want? I have sooooo many favorite dishes here! Thank you, J's, for bringing high-quality food to our beautiful Lilstadt!
We stayed there 12/21 and there were 21 in our family celebration, it was fabulous, food really good, service excellent, highly recommend this restaurant and staff
The family went for Christmas Eve dinner. Everyone loved their meal. Filet lobster. Yum yum.
The best food I've had for a long time. Siri sent us there. I had a Cesar Salad, Halibut Cake, Kalbmarsala, who came with pasta and green beans and garlic bread. Each last article was either the best or close to the best I've ever had, and I've eaten in many first-class restaurants over the years.
ALLways exceptional food and the people are fantastic. Yet another night of fabulous memories, thanks to Js.
