What a nice spot we stumbled upon as we were driving by to go to another restaurant. We turned around to check it out and absolutely loved the food and vibe of this hidden gem. Good food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
Floyd's is one of our favorite restaurants, especially for crab cakes. The food is always delicious and the service always good. We don't get out that way too often so it's a destination place for us. Every meal I've eaten at Floyd's has been wonderful.
This place has the best crabs around. That being said, they have no regards for reservations. We were celebrating a birthday and we were going to get a table of All You Can Eat Crabs. I called in at open to make reservations, I was asked how many peoplewere going get AYCE. I told them 5 of our 8 were getting it. We show up for our reservation and are told that they only have 1AYCE meal left. Then they charge you 2x the cost of AYCE for a dozen crabs, which feeds one person.
Great food! Friendly staff. Nice, small little restaurant. It was a little tight squeezing in our party of 8 but staff made it work and we had a good time. Best onion rings around!
