Very good food just what my taste buds ordered. The Brownie Sandwich (outer parts of the smoked pork) took care of that carnivore urge for smoked pork. I really enjoyed the baked beans as well. This place is famous in Dawsonville but the truth is this place is decent at best. It’s insanely overpriced. 1 burger is $12! Add sides a drink it’s $17 for one person! The food is not that good! The food was not fresh and had a microwave-like taste. The baked beans resembled chili, while the mac and cheese lacked any flavor beyond that of plain pasta. The ribs I ordered were dry, and the meat stubbornly clung to the bones instead of sliding off. The chicken was even drier than the Sahara Desert during its peak drought. The hash browns were tiny and tasted like nothing but batter. However, I have no complaints about the fountain drinks—they were cold and filled my large cup to the brim with ice.
The biscuits are fantastic! However, I find that the lunch menu doesn't quite measure up to the breakfast offerings.
