Stuie's Diner - Dawson Creek

This restaurant is fabulous!We took the family there today and had a great experience. Right from the bottled glass colas, to the jukebox and authentic 50s memorabilia it felt like you were right in the era. The food was great, and we actually had dessert, which was the delicious homemade pie and chocolate Sunday. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

This is by far one of the best hidden treasures of the north! My friend and I drove an hour and a half just to eat lunch there today because it just has to be experienced at least once. The entire restaurant truly captures the 50's Diner nostalgia with too much detail to list here.<br/ <br/ ONLY complaints would be the staff not wearing colorful uniforms ripped right out of the 50's and our waitress was a little rude when we only had about fifteen minutes left to dine.

Thumbs Ordered the mushroom Swiss bacon burger Home made patties seasoned to perfection flavour was great Fry's were very crispy seasoned well but frozen crinkle cut the gravy tasted like it was made fresh , good cup of Joe as-well, my company had The Ruben the bread was panfried to a golden crisp the combination of the smoked pastrami sauerkraut was amazing Service was Top notch very friendly the atmosphere was great 50's style diner, With lots of parking.<br/ <br/ Thumbs The Fries were frozen crinkle cut not what I expected at a diner like this with everything else great food wise going on here

Stuie's creates an awesome experience from the moment you see the diner until you drive away with a full stomach. The Hand made (not mechanically prepared and frozen patties) burgers are excellent. Tender, tasty, and excellent. Sure, it's just a burger but it's the best burger I've ever had at a restaurant. While you're there, don't just get the fries, get the poutine! Unable to stop eating, I left full but the next time I go, I'll try to save room for pie. Oh and the atmosphere.... The service was attentive and prompt. I loved the retro diner decor. It was clean, polished, and retro. Sitting at the bar with a full view of the grill just added to the experience. Definitely recommend.
