Last day in Sydney & decided to wander down from The Shangri la to find a coffee. This cute place fitted the bill as it had a great water view & was a nice place to sit & while away some time before our flight home. There were bicycles everywhere, even hung up in the roof area & a statue out front of a cyclist, even the stools had peddles (cute) Coffee was Vittorio, not one of my favorites, but the sweets, especially the muffins made up for that loved those sugary crunchy tops
I work at the Rocks so been here pretty often and it hasn't disappointed me till date. Ive has the lasagna which was good. I've had the bacon egg roll which was absolutely delicious and mouth watering. Considering the area the prices are very reasonable and the view obviously is very good. If you are a cyclist, they have a small workshop attached where you can get your cycle fixed or looked at. Staff are very friendly as well.
Had a pretty decent burger here!! The bun was nice and the ingredients inside were simple but very fresh. However, when ordering, I asked the cashier if it is served with fries and she asked someone in the kitchen who said yes. A different waiter bought the food to the table and when I asked her where the fries were, she said that this cafe definitely does not serve fries. So that was a bummer.. But the burger was actually very enjoyable and was a decent price.
The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and welcoming, and the view is amazing. There are gluten-free options available on most of the menu, although it's unclear what their cross-contamination practices are. Overall, the service was excellent.
