The location of restaurant Strela Pass couldn't be better. With a large terrace and stunning views on the Grison mountains this restaurant will not disappoint you. In my last review I was not so positive about the quality of the food. I must revise my opinion. Not sure if the cook chganged, but the Rösti we has was just amazinhg and also the Älpler Maccaronen were very nice.
I did not expect Strela Pass restaurant to be open after hiking up from base restaurant. The gentlemen server was so friendly and cheerful. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The views from the deck outside were spectacular. My only regret was forgetting my hiking poles.
Yet to try the Kaiserschmarrn. But the Rösti is so big you have enough after it.
Very friendly hut landlord, rustic and cozy and the food is really delicious. Vegan dishes are also available . The vegan Graubünden barley soup was just as delicious as my husband's beef broth. Sanitary facilities also very clean. We would love to come back
