The Snow Beach, Open Air Restaurant, inside the hotel, is 2 min walk from the train station. They have 2 rows of tables and chairs. You can have light snacks as well as deserts. The main thing is the breathtaking view of the Davos alley. If you want a full meal there is a restaurant inside the hotel.

It costs 20CHF per adult/return for the funicular to get there. Once we did, we were told two things: no reservation on their books, and the kitchen closed at 14:00. We could have saved the trip if the Hotel the night before had told us so... we complained at the reception, and they couldn't care less about our plight. The snow beach seemed wonderful on a sunny day, and the waiter was apologetic, but in the end our trip was ruined. They did say we could go to the Panoramic restaurant, but not the same thing. If you look on the website, the Restaurant is open from 11 17, maybe they could inform the clientele the kitchen times or last orders. It's probably one of those places that doesn't care about reviews as the setting is so nice.
