We stopped in for some bratwurst and beer while we waited for our train to St. Moritz, and we had a lovely visit. The decor is absolutely beautiful with wood panels and a fireplace. It seems like an idyllic spot for a drink after a long hike. Note: the restaurant does not have high chairs or restrooms. We brought our own travel high chair, and restrooms are located in the building just south of the cafe. View all feedback.
What ELEL doesn't like about Blockhuus:
The service took a lot of time and I had to wait at least 30-40 minutes for my burger, which didn't taste good. The meat in the burger was not justified for the price. I paid 30 francs for the not tasty burger! The fries were excellent though! View all feedback.
Very convenient located at the bottom of the slope of Rinerhorn, just next to the parking and gondola. As the ride down from the mountain is very nice it is not a bad idea to go all the way down here, have lunch and then go back up the mountain with the gondola again. That way you get a good meal, and the run down the valley at least twice. Menu is not very long, but the food tasty and service friendly. No after-ski party, but a nice terrace to enjoy glass of something while the last sun rays disappear behind the beautiful mountains.

Cozy log cabin to have something to drink or eat after skiing.
Very nice staff, despite the fact that it is on a thoroughfare you can sit there well. Drinks and food selection is very good.
Törggelen geht nicht nur in Südtirol, auch in der Nähe von Davos gibt es ein empfehlenswertes Lokal. Leckere Schlachtplatte, feine Knödel und auf die Kastanienkrapfen, falls zufällig angeboten, sollte man nicht verzichten. Aber auch die anderen Desserts werden dem Gaumen sicher einen genüsslichen Seufzer entlocken.Überhaupt sieht die Karte sehr gut aus. Gekocht wird hier mit Leidenschaft und selbst. Echte Küche halt. Und die Gastfreundschaft ist auch ehrlich. Die Pächter sind erst seit Juni 2020 hier. Auf die älteren Kommentare kann man also getrost verzichten.
