Amazing food.... Great atmosphere.... DEFINITELY worth the drive!

This is a fantastic place to escape from it all. We stayed in a charming hut and enjoyed hiking trails, fishing in the well-stocked ponds, visiting Dillard Mill, and taking a quick trip to Steelville for a day of swimming. Waking up to the view of the lake and ending the day with stunning sunsets was a highlight. There are two caravans available for those looking for a more comfortable camping experience, complete with running water and electricity. Fire pits are provided for roasting marshmallows and there are showers and toilets available for free (although each side has its own showers and toilets).

This is the best hamburger I have ever tasted. I know it may sound exaggerated, but I assure you, this burger is truly amazing. It is worth traveling two hours from St. Louis just to try it.

We had a fantastic weekend at Pine Valley. The grounds were beautiful and secluded, and we especially enjoyed the hike to see the stunning Dillard Mill. We highly recommend this place!
