Ushio Sushi - Davie

I love Ushio. I've been here since before they changed their name and when they still had the conveyor belt. 99% of the menu is great, but I write it because I have to mention an appetizer: chicken caraage. Very simple, slightly satisfactory appetizer, but it never cost the same as the first time. The second time was undercooked, this time there was hardly a chicken and I mostly paid for batteries. Whatever the chicken was there was extremely thin and 4/6 (small) pieces hardly had meat. I must mention that the dough has always been at the point, but no chicken in a chicken caraage, and undercooked chicken legs before? from all I? ve had from here, it would be nice to get some decent $7 fried chicken lol. Dear Ushio DOWN, but please improve this one menu item. Do not let this review scare the reader: Ushio is reliable, affordable and truly and consistently great. Just this one thing?

Absolutely delicious! Perfectly seasoned sushi rolls. I love the rock and roll so much. The other I got had the mango sauce and it was amazing! I will definitely come back and try more sushi options. I will recommend it to all my friends and my family.

Chirashi Don was probably one of the worst examples I had. 3 types of basic tuna, Hamachi, salmon. No toragashi or spices in the rice bowl. The cut beef bowl was all crispy fat. What little meat was in it had some taste, but I was very unimpressed after I gave this place a second attempt. Drive the additional miles and go to Koume if you want an authentic Japanese meal.

We drove more than an hour to come here, it was totally worthy. The quality was so high, and price was nice. Everyone was absolutely amazing. My husband and I enjoyed it so much. Definitely coming back.
