this place gets a 5 star rating for their service and customer service. My wife and I stopped here for breakfast on a Friday morning. Staff was very friendly and attentive to us. I had bacon and eggs and my wife had sausage and eggs. the sausage were home made and unfortunately my wife did not care for the taste. eggs and bacon were done very well along with homes fries. As the wait staff cleared our plates, she aske... View all feedback.
What Taylor werda doesn't like about Lunessa's Cafe:
Ordered for the first time today. Not only was the portions so tiny… my breakfast potatoes and hash bowl had absolutely no flavor AT ALL. I also ordered pancakes and didn’t even get syrup. Definitely never makes me want to order from here again… View all feedback.
The interior is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating options including both booths and tables. The decor is simple yet charming, blending a bit of old-fashioned style with modern touches. The menu is extensive enough to satisfy all appetites. At our table, the kids enjoyed the "2 for 2" breakfast, which came with eggs, extra crispy bacon, and toast. Of course, there were also fluffy chocolate chip pancakes. Other dishes we tried included the California hash, pulled pork hash, Western omelette, pulled pork taco, and the famous shrimp and grits. Everything was excellent, but I must highlight the shrimp and grits (even though I’m not usually a fan of grits)—they were absolutely amazing and a must-order. Three of us got this dish, and we cleaned our plates! They also serve coffee, along with a selection of juices, sodas, breakfast mimosas, and beer. Our family enjoyed a wonderful breakfast together, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back tomorrow! Seriously, come here, enjoy the food, and have a great time!
For my meal, I ordered the Western omelette, and I was amazed by how large it was for the price! The portion was so generous that I ended up taking some home. The omelette was packed with ham, onions, and bell peppers, all of which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The ham had just the right amount of salt, and the onions were grilled to perfection, resulting in a mild taste that didn’t overpower the dish. The bell peppers retained a nice crispness even after being cooked, adding to the overall experience. My girlfriend opted for the 2-2-2, and I was shocked by the incredible amount of food she was given, which included both pancakes and toast! The pancakes were some of the best I’ve had from a breakfast spot in a long while. The breakfast potatoes were equally impressive, perfectly seasoned and delightfully crispy. The pricing is fantastic, making me feel like I won’t want to eat breakfast anywhere else. Their lunch menu also looks amazing, so I’m looking forward to stopping by to try some of those items soon. The staff was also very friendly, which is a great bonus for a newer place! I can’t wait to return!
Wow! We are so happy we discovered this restaurant. It offers an elevated take on classic diner food. The Shrimp and Grits might just be the best we've ever had. The service was just as fantastic as the food, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely give this place a try!
This place deserves more hype. The food is made with love and it’s fresh. The shrimp and grits were too good and so was the California hash. Amazing latte and cappuccino. And the service was stellar. Bethany was such a pleasure. Absolutely recommend this place! We live nearby and are always looking for brunch spots and I’m glad to have found a new favorite.
Love this place! Awesome service, great food, great prices. I got the weekend special pancakes which were chocolate cinnamon crunch and my boyfriend got the country burrito. Great portion sizes and delicious. Fair warning, this place is small and fills up quick so either go early or be prepared to wait! We will definitely be back for lunch as those options looked delicious too.
