We go here regularly and have always been impressed by both the service and the food. The staff are extremely polite and friendly they even prepare our drinks as we enter the premises! For a first course we would particularly recommend the Chicken Tikka and Onion Bhajis and for a main the Tandoori Butter Chicken but in truth every meal is very good! The restaurant occasionally hold music tribute nights so check in ad... View all feedback.
What Susan C doesn't like about Woodford Dynasty:
This restaurant could use some improvements. The staff were quite rude, and when we made a small complaint, they argued with us and then ignored us. The interior is in need of a makeover, with holes in the walls giving it a neglected appearance. Overall, the atmosphere was not pleasant. View all feedback.
We were in a quandry as to whether to go out for a meal or stay in. The latter won as we had some wine to finish off and expected a long night. Ordered by phone, estimated time to be ready 45 mins. Arrived a few minutes early for takeaway and had to wait about ten mins. Not a serious problem, time around 6.00 pm. Meal well packed in a paper bag, each one marked. Naam bread, popadoms, madras and veggie meals plus rice. We enjoyed the meal and meat was good, not chewy or fatty, extra veg and other dips etc. Enjoyed the experience. When in the area we will use the Cottage again. Pretty good, price reasonable as well. Not sure if they do deliveries.
Thank you for another wonderful evening! Your tribute nights are fantastic - well-organized, entertaining, and one of the best nights out in town! The food from our set menu was delicious and despite the restaurant being full, it arrived quickly and at the perfect temperature. Ali and Emma made sure our drinks were always full and that everyone was satisfied. Thank you!
We ordered takeout from this restaurant while staying at a cottage in Solgrave. It took over an hour and a half to be delivered and the driver had trouble finding the cottage. I had to stand in the road to collect the food. We ordered three starters and requested plenty of mint sauce and onion salad to go with them. Unfortunately, we only received one small pot of mint sauce and no onion salad. Additionally, everything was cold. It was a waste of money and we were very disappointed. In the future, we will choose Zinga Spice when in the area.

Had a takeaway, which we have done many times. Was very disappointed in the the food this time. Chicken tasted really tough, was'nt up to usual standard. Will go to other Indian in village next time, Indian chef.
