really nice pub connected to a fish and chips shop! we had their fish and chips and they were the best we have ever eaten really delicious and it is worth checking. also nice to be able to sit in a pub and have served them fresh, besides a pint! the only thing I would say is that the pub looks very tired and could definitely do with a refresh! My family and I love this place. They are extremely friendly and we have never really welcomed us as we are here; and we have visited many places. Thank you.
Great pub. Friendly. The fish and chips are almost worth the 30 min drive.
Food was excellent (Battered Cod and Chips)... but they charged an extra £2.5 for Ketchup as all other sauces!
We had a fabulous Sunday lunch there yesterday. The food was lovely and vegetarians were well catered for. The service was very good and the prices are very reasonable. Becky was so helpful and friendly, coming out of the pub to show us the way to the open garden.
The food was excellent and it was great to have it served piping hot.
