Little India - Daventry

The food at this restaurant was fantastic in the past. Unfortunately, I have been trying to contact them but it seems like they have disappeared, possibly due to a poor hygiene score and owing thousands of dollars. It is a shame because it was the only restaurant we really enjoyed.

I placed an order at 5pm for a 7.30 delivery time. At 8pm, I called to inquire about the status of my order, only to be told that they were unable to fulfill or deliver it. I decided to visit the restaurant in person, where I was asked to wait as they had already taken payment. After waiting for 25 minutes, they informed me that they would not be fulfilling the order or offering any compensation. This was very disappointing, especially on New Year's Eve when there were many frustrated customers. This is not the first time that they have failed to honor a paid order, so I will not be ordering from them again.

I used to love Little India. The food, prices, and delivery were always perfect. I have been a customer for many years. However, my last two orders have been cancelled or delivered very late, way past the time when we could have ordered from somewhere else. There was also no courtesy call, just a notification two hours later. I really want to order from them again because their Kalia is amazing, but unfortunately, I have to look for another option.

Absolutely shocking service. They consistently cancel orders. Thought I’d give them another try after seeing many bad reviews. Can’t comment on what the food is like now as didn’t get to try it again! Have gone elsewhere in the town. They may be the cheapest but they are definitely not the best. Spend a bit more and get a decent takeaway.

I pre ordered through just eat. It was delayed 3 times which would have been forgivable if they took some money off or if they were not so rude when I called. There was a man that was just plain rude and interpreted me and the second time I called a nice lady answered but was arguing with a man while I was on the phone We usually like this take away but tonight VERY late food and rudeness, no compensation. I won't be ordering from you again
