Van's Pizza Pub Grill - Davenport

The food is bottom line, not good. The first time out of three i had the burger was decent, fries similar to McDonald's. But the second time i had wings, and in my life time ive never had wings quite taste that odd and off, disgusting. The third time another burger, why not go with what works. The burger this time was encased in salt and burnt, absolutely dreadful. The onion rings that came with were okay and not as salty, but the batter was almost not done, and it made my jaw hurt chewing that much. Overall quality over two months has declined, but two girls we had serving WERE THE BEST, on top of it and making sure we were taking care, good sense of humor as well.

Service was very good but the pizza was not very good. The large size would probably be a medium or even small at most places. It is thin crust but was not crispy and had barley any toppings. Sauce was way too sweet almost ketchup like. We also got wings which were over cooked. Would be one star if not for the fantastic waitress who took care of us.

Took my wife and two daughters for dinner. The waitress never came back to ask about refills...when asked for napkins she said sure. Never did get those napkins. Onion rings were bland. Soda was 75% ice...beer was luke warm. The father and ypung daughter next to us sat for 20 minutes never got served they walked out. Will not be back again. Not worth the time.

Waitress seemed annoyed at us being there. The food was mid at best. Drink selection is non existent. Worth it for watching a game or something I guess. Was not impressed. Tipped the waitress well regardless cause god knows what this place was putting her through to get to that point.

Server was okay. The meal we ordered was not what received. The philly cheesesteak was an Italian beef. My western burger came atleast 15 minutes after the rest of our meal. It was a quarter pounder covered in bbq sauce. Total disappointment. Thank god for the spinach dip. Can not understand how a burger could come so late yet the people behind us got there pizza before I got my entree. They arrived 10 minutes after I ordered my dinner. The bathroom was in poor repair. Toilet handles broken and not that clean. Definitely not going back. So disappointed in the food. Thank god the waitress was understanding and atleast went and got some of it off the bill.
