I LOVE great breakfast spots. This place was fantastic! Regular fare food, not fancy with the flavor BUT everything was exactly like you'd expect, except my Pancake. It was the best damn pancake I've ever had in my life! And it wasn't even my main meal! Country fried steak was awesome and I will come back for their home-made corned beef hash!! View all feedback.
I have tried all the breakfast places in the Quad Cities, and Rocks is my top pick! The food is consistently high quality and reasonably priced. It's a classic greasy spoon diner with a laid-back atmosphere. The decor is simple, but the food is great. I can't wait to try the lunch menu. My favorite dishes are George's skillet and the breakfast burrito. The pancakes are huge, and the French toast and biscuits and gravy were delicious.
Awesome little diner! The food was excellent! I had the breakfast burrito with sour cream and salsa. My niece had the biggest pancakes! She loved them so much.
Awesome ambiance; very retro! Old fashioned counter with 'mushroom ' rotating seats and visible grill area. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Four egg omelette, hash browns, biscuit, and coffee less than $10.00! My son and I ate for about $20.00; the same at Village Inn would have been $30.00, or more. Friendly, responsive staff, quick service, and terrific food! You gotta get yourself to Rock 's Anchor Grill you won 't be disappointed, and you 're likely to become a regular I am! (Five stars)
The restaurant consistently serves delicious homemade dishes with generous portion sizes. The quaint small-town setting creates a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and inviting, making it one of Davenport's hidden gems.
I tried Anchor's Grill for the first time on April 23, 2022, and their food was absolutely fantastic! The pancakes were so light and fluffy, and the combination of their meats was delicious. Dining in at Anchor's Grill is definitely a great choice.
