What JT Teagarden doesn't like about Pizza Shack:
We were driving home on a road trip. Looked up nearest pizza place. Ordered over the phone. Walked in, payed, said thank you and left. The pizza was burnt. Tried to eat it anyway. I can't believe they didn't make the call to remake the pizza. I would have gladly waited longer for edible pizza. Had my 12 yr old son with me. Had to buy something else for dinner. Well, I got ripped off. I ordered an all meat with extra cheese. Which I paid for. But I got 1/2 cheese 1/2 meat. No extra cheese either.
1st time trying there pizza. Absolutely loved it I highly recommend giving them a try.
Born and raised in New Haven, I can be a pizza snob. Don't skip this place if you're in town just straight up pizza. It's all take out with a drive thru, but there might be a picnic table nearby. Great crust you can tell they let rise and use good flour, very cool little building perfect for putting pies out, nice staff. Thanks, Pizza Shack!
This place is kinda far for me, but it 's definitely worth the drive! My favorite place for QC Style pizza in the QC. Highly recommend
