Big Christmas vibes for anyone who loves Christmas. The drinks are very expensive, especially as they actually taste. There are not many options for simple drinks. The decorations and the ambience are great! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Miracle At The Freight House:
Actually, the drinks were too expensive. They weren't even great! The service was terrible. We waited for a drink for over 40 minutes. There were not even many people. When was very disappointing View all feedback.
The Diner is one of my top five favorite dining spots in the Quad Cities. The food is consistently exceptional, ranging from fried pickles to country fried steak. The atmosphere is quite unique, and the staff is incredibly friendly! If you get the chance to visit, be sure to ask for Elissa as your server; she is hilarious. On my most recent trip, they unfortunately removed fried pickles from the menu. However, they now offer Nashville Hot cheese curds, which are just as fantastic as the pickles used to be! The biscuits and gravy have been consistently excellent each time I’ve ordered them, and I usually go for the Country Fried Biscuits and Gravy. Additionally, the Brunch Burger is a solid option if you’re in the mood for a burger! The portion sizes are medium to large, and the prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and consistency of the food. There is parking available on the south side of the building, as well as an elevator entrance since the restaurant is on the second floor.
This hidden gem offers incredible pork tenderloins and an even more outstanding staff. It's a fun and accommodating spot with a breathtaking view. I would highly recommend it!
We enjoyed several menu items, including the Southwest Skillet with blueberry pancakes, biscuits and gravy, the Denver Skillet with chocolate chip pancakes, and the sweet potato skillet. All four dishes were a perfect 10 out of 10! I can't wait to return and sample more items from the menu. In my professional opinion, this is the best spot for breakfast and brunch on the Iowa side of the Quad Cities.
Nice little place in a cool, restored space. The Blueberry Lemon Old Fashioned is definitely not traditional, but it tasted pretty great. Or breakfast was good: it didn't blow us away, but it beat hotel food for sure. Definitely worth a visit for the convenience and the friendly staff.
I got the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend got the veggie burger and they were both SO good!! every single staff was super friendly and so kind. the place inside itself is so cute and cozy. i loved it and i would definitely go back again!
