Always love going here. The place is a simple classy place of it's own. There are nice window seats to look at the downtown action, buildings and other great businesses and passerbys. The food is always delicious and well prepared with good portions. Gotta have the Best Homemade Cheese Curds I have ever had! The Chicken N Dumpling Soup is Soooo Delicious too! What John Clark doesn't like about Me Billy:
The downright mean look we were given with no welcome just “it will be a forty minute wait,” turned me off. I have a gift card so I will give it another try and report back. Tried again. Our server was great. I enjoyed the Bison burger and my drink. View all feedback.
Had a great time at Me and Billy. Started with the Smoked Salmon Crostinis; came out looking like a 5 dish. Delicious. Had the Iowa Old Fashioned-smoked , also delicious. Service from Lady at the bar was fantastic, she was attentive and friendly. Chicken dumpling soup and their new Berry Poppins salad combo for main course. The salad tasted like summer! Finished with their Fruit Fancy (they had me at lemon poppyseed). Was a perfect end to a late Saturday's lunch. Will def be back and if you haven't already given them a try, you should!

Absolute best place I’ve eaten in Iowa. Very impressed but the service and blown away by the food. Easy parking out front too!
Service was great, we got in with no wait even though it was packed and our waitress was super accommodating and thoughtful. Food was reasonably priced and their drink selections are good
I called in an order for a breaded chicken burger with Muenster and fries along with two sides for my daughter (mac and cheese and red potatoes . I also ordered a piece of chocolate cake. I believe the bartender took my order. When I arrived, I let the hostess know I was picking up a to-go order. My only complaint is she could have been more welcoming. (I’m sorry I didn’t know that to-go orders are picked up at the bar. My bad. Everything was beautifully packed. The bartender even made sure I had napkins, forks and condiments which was helpful as I’m staying at a local hotel. Back at my room, I took one bite of the chicken hanging over the bun and had to stop to get my phone. I knew this was going to be the best chicken burger this side of the Mississippi ! Crispy and juicy. Just perfect! I look forward to eating in the restaurant or ordering to go on my next trip. My daughter liked the sides she ordered. I don’t have more details from her as she’s not feeling good, which is why we didn’t eat in the restaurant. We’re going to share the chocolate cake later. It looks delicious. I was in a hurry to tell the world about the BEST CHICKEN BURGER ever!
