Service friendly, but chicken fried steak was too teig filler

Located on Rt66 in Davenport. Tammy's Round up Cafe is everything you can ask for in a small town diner. Great food, friendly folks, lots of RT 66 memorabilia. Lunch even came with free hot rolls and honey butter.

The last time we were there we had really bad service to the point that we didn't tip and we NEVER do that. Went back in today for breakfast and the girl at the counter looked up at us and hen continued with what she was doing without acknowledging us and we stood there for a bit and then another girl came out of the kitchen looked at us then looked down and walked away not a word said to us. We then decided they didn't care about our business or theirs and we left. Even though we live in Dsvenport we will not be returning. I'd rather travel out of town and get better customer care than pay to be ignored.

We were passing thru and thought we would stop to eat. My husband ordered chili cheese burger. It was terrible. Told the waitress it tasted bad and she sorry and went to get our bill. I had to go ask her for more tea. I wouldn’t go back at all. Hope my husband doesn’t get sick from eating the bad meat.

Good food and a great relaxing atmosphere. Great value. Large servings for the price.
