Roadhouse - Davao

Woah this place is so great. I loved the crispy kangkong so much. ordering is good for two. the personal is very nice and has hospitality also very attentive. always if you ask for them or need something. the food came out quite quickly. come back. best to order here are the bulalo, crispy kangkong, fried rice and roasted bark meat. my breath and spirit is here in peace with eating.

This restaurant at SM City is the Filipino version of an American diner. That means they serve honest local food in big portions at decent prices. I was actually surprised that the quality of the food here was so good, it even made me return to try a couple of more dishes. All the dishes we ordered, the tangigue kinilaw, the stuffed calmar, the kare-kare and the seafood basket were all impeccable. If Filipino food was promoted worlwide by quality mall franchises such as Roadhouse, it would certainly have a much better reputation, because there are enough excellent local dishes in this country, it's just not so easy to find them prepared well. Prices are on the high side for Davao city but for the size and quality still very reasonable, so if you're in the Ecoland area, give this one a try, you might be positively surprised.
