**Dining Delight at Pfefferteller: A Poblacion Gem**
Tucked away on Palma Gil St., Pfefferteller is a cozy culinary haven celebrated for its delectable baby back ribs. The bustling atmosphere reflects its prime location in the heart of Poblacion, drawing in guests who appreciate quality fare, including unique rice bowls and mouthwatering burgers. While prices are slightly elevated, the attentive service and inviting ambiance enhance the dining experience, despite occasional delays during peak times. Desserts like the fried Oreo bring a touch of indulgence, although some may find the flavors a bit disjointed. Overall, Pfefferteller delivers a satisfying meal worth a visit.

--- This restaurant is a fantastic spot located in the heart of the old town. Parking can be quite challenging, but it's worth the effort. The food is excellent, and the establishment is very clean. The staff is attentive, although it seems like they only have one person who’s fully occupied with tasks. I highly recommend the burger and the baby back ribs. The burger patty has a unique flavor, though it tends to fall apart a bit—likely due to the binding agent not quite working with the caramelized onions. Still, the overall taste is refreshing and distinct compared to other burger offerings in Davao. All the ingredients build a harmonious blend of flavors, showcasing skill and creativity. The baby back ribs have a pleasantly sweet balance, and I actually prefer them without the banana ketchup that typically accompanies them. The meat is juicy with a tender texture, which is a nice contrast to the salpicao dish that had a tougher texture and an overpowering butter flavor. For dessert, the Oreo dish has a taste reminiscent of something you might find everywhere, and the combination of vanilla ice cream, deep-fried Oreos, and what seems to be fried cake batter calls for a bit more cohesiveness in its various flavors. Overall, I would rate the experience as follows: - Food: 4/5 - Service: 5/5 - Wait Time: 20 minutes - Ambiance: 4/5 - Price: 400 per person --- This succinctly captures the essence of your review!
Pfefferteller is a cozy restaurant on Palma Gil St. located in the Poblacion area. It's usually bustling with guests who often order their signature ribs. They serve their ribs with a choice of sides, and my personal favorite is the potatoes. We also tried their roasted Oreo dessert, but it was quite small for the price. While the prices are above average, it's worth considering the restaurant's prime location and quality of food. However, the service can be slow, especially when the place is crowded, which affects the overall dining experience.
