They don’t even need a sign outside; anyone who grew up here knows exactly where the original shop is located. I visited for takeout around 2 PM, just in time for merienda, and the place was packed with loyal customers despite the limited seating. Perhaps in keeping with its “old-fashioned” charm, the shop doesn’t have a QR code system; instead, you’ll find a manual logbook system in place. Or maybe maintaining a QR system is just too costly? Either way, I'm not sure. The durian and egg pie still has the same deliciously creamy flavor, and it pairs perfectly with coffee. The fresh lumpia crepes were a bit dry, but the sauce was still a standout for me.

My personal favorites are Pancit Lug-Lug, Spaghetti with Toasted Bread, and Fresh Lumpiang Ubod. These are a must-try when you’re in Davao!
