Really enjoyed the bar. It has lots of chic rock decorations as well as shiplap decorations, mood lighting and a large collection of whiskies and rums. Nice location close to the beach. The food was also delicious. I had the cuban and my girlfriend had the Buddha bowl with shrimp and we shared the chips and guac. Next time I’m in town, It is a must for me! View all feedback.
What alternativeavenue doesn't like about Restó South Beach:
Our first stop in South Beach, this was hit or miss. The fare was fine but no one felt floored. The mixed drinks looked great, but being a draft type of gal, I only took a look. Our party of 6 were seated without wait. Overall, we appreciated the vibe. View all feedback.
Wait staff was excellent but unmasked. I don’t want anybody breathing on my food. Guy at the table across from us didn’t have a shirt on! Isn’t that a pretty common requirement for service?
This is my second time here. I went with friends I really did enjoy the atmosphere drinks and food were a bit pricey so be prepared to have a good night out and spend average amount of money. If you do come try the old fashioned with bullet rye. Amazing!
Walked in with a group of friends 5 of us in total. This was at 11pm cocktail server greeted us and first words out of her mouth was no English . I understand Latina bars and Ocean Avenue, Espanola way but on first Street at South Pointe Tavern it 's an embarrassment and frustrating
Over a couple of days in Miami stopped at South Pointe Tavern twice for drinks and a bite. Great spot near the piers with a different vibe than most of the bars and restaurants in the area. The menu has many different items that didn't all seem to go together but that allowed for a variety of options. The drinks were on the average side, but the staff and food definitely were outstanding. The nachos and pastrami sandwich were exceptional, and we had both of those items both times we stopped in. Definitely worth a stop in, and a bonus, if you sit on the porch, you can enjoy the hilarity of watching people parallel park.
