This spot was a hidden gem for a family breakfast at a decent price. Best Cafe Latte ever had. Forget Starbucks! They had small bites, guava empanadas, croquettes, eggs (fried/scrambled), pancakes, sausages. The service was friendly and popular amongst locals. Also visited for dinner. View all feedback.
What SteveLicata doesn't like about Oasis Garden Grill:
We decided to try this place because the menu and prices seemed reasonable. We ordered the food to go but when presented with the bill before the food was prepared, it was much higher than expected. One menu item was higher than stated on the menu and the waitress tried to convince us it was all done by the computer: no apology and offer to correct the bill. We then noticed a 15% gratuity applied to a carryout order... View all feedback.
No service. Went here twice during open hours and no one to be found to serve us. It 's a shame, we really wanted to try it here!
This little hole in a wall will fool you!! I walked in with no expectations I couldn’t be happier with what I paid for. Yes, they charge service fee container fee for takeout, but for $20 you just can’t beat it!! We had it for lunch returned for dinner!! It was full of fresh fish, calamari, large shrimps, scallops, on top of the juicy flavorful yellow rice! We’ve had seafood paella in NYC/NJ, Barcelona, Costa Rica, many more Caribbean countries this one was by far the best!! Needless to say, we will be returning ?

One menu item was higher than stated on the menu and the waitress tried to convince us it was all done by the computer: no apology and offer to correct the bill. We then noticed a 15% gratuity applied to a carryout order and additional take-out container fees. This all might have been understandable if they had been disclosed at the time of ordering. We do not support such sneaky and unethical business practices.
The 2nd day at Miami beach, I walked in this small cafe near to my hotel. I saw and ordered Seafood Paella from the menu without much expectation. Waited for almost 30 min, it finally came out and I understood why it took this long, the paella was finely prepared, lots and lots of various freshly cooked seafood on the top, underneath was a thin layer of rice fully soaked in very tasty seafood juice and soup. It was delicious and one of the best seafood paellas I had ever had, much better than some I tasted in Barcelona and Madrid, probably cooked for travelers (sorry).
We weren 't too hungry , so the wife and I ended up ordering the clam chowder, a cocktail and wine. We thought that would be it for dinner. Well, the view was good so we stayed long enough and ordered a few more cocktails and a burger.Would HIGHLY recommend this place. Our server (Rafael from FL) was friendly and hospitable. Didn 't bother us while eating, but made great recommendations and always refilled our drinks/was alert to our needs. EASY 4 STARS. Great spot if you 're in fisherman 's wharf!
