A local favorite. The food is terrific and the service is top notch. A little loud since the dinning room is filled with families with children. I guess that's why it is a local gem. View all feedback.
What Delmer Leffler doesn't like about Cafe Avanti:
People that work there suck. Went to eat there after getting out of the hospital after having a c section for my twins and having them in the nicu for a week and the hostess was the rudest person I've encountered. The way she looked at me, up and down.. wow. I've had the longest week of my life and just wanted to get some dinner nearby the hospital where my twins are in the nicu and she made the experience terrible.... View all feedback.
Restaurant is very professional the food is excellent, service excellent and has a very full bar. The room has a clubby dark wood feel, but the all hard surface room resonates the noise way beyond the nice buzz level to it being unpleasant during busy nights which seems to be the case when I've been there. So now we only go there if dining early. Some noise absorbing ceiling/wall/floor materials would make every experience more enjoyable.
Every neighborhood should have a restaurant like this. The greeting is always warm and friendly. The food is reliably good, and portions are very large. When a dish is shared, it comes to the table already plated, which is a nice touch. The dining room is attractive, well lit, and always lively. The sole downside is the noise level, which can be clamorous in the main dining room when it's more than half full. Still, it's a treat to dine here. Wish it was open for lunch.
This place is amazing. We go once a week and it’s family friendly and so consistent.Chicken parm, veal meatballs, arugula salad are some of my favorites. The staff and Louie are top notch and always make you feel at home.Great place!
Everything you want in a good restaurant. Great food (Italian), great service and not outrageous prices. In town for only a few days and didn't know the area, took a chance, glad we did.
