Blue Ribbon Sushi Grill South Beach

2 private chefs on our day off. Haven't been in Miami long and already came back for their blue ribbon fried chicken with hot honey ? glaze, absolutely delish!! My wife loves their sushi. Go and enjoy!!

We are a couple visiting from Southern California and have been fortunate enough to experience some of the best Japanese restaurants in the states and Japan. On Saturday we planned to visit blue ribbon and checked 30 min before arrival if we should make reservations, however every time slot was available within 15 minutes for next several hours. We arrived and the host looked at us and asked if we had a reservation and that ' only the sushi bar was available. We were stunned after looking around seeing the place nearly empty. We walked out and checked again and every time slot was still available online. I walked back in as a different couple was talking to host without a reservation. I heard the host say that table option was available and they were seated immediately. I then asked the host when a table would be ready and magicly ONE very specific table on terrace Was available (she made it clear only that table). We sat down and it was right next to bus table prep area..the waiter came and said we can sit wherever..at that point we realized that the host did not want us there so we left. If you visit this place and don 't fit into their fake pretentious vibe then get ready to be banished to the dark corners.

Great food, great vibes, great drinks great service. Our server Andrew was really attentive and made us feel welcomed at home. Highly recommend!

Recommend their fried chicken, sounds crazy, but it was really delicious. All the food was fresh, prepared perfectly and delicious. Cool, retro atmosphere.
