Was Anonym at Ruby a mag?
I quite often come here for a quick lunch during the week. The gado gado is excellent and very fresh. The pho is also very nice and very filling. The staff are usually very quick and friendly. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Ruby:
Location is excellent at a street corner with trees and public space. Busy on a Sunday with yum cha crowd. Some old Chinese being taken out on Sunday by family. Ordered 7 dim sums. No tea. Tap water. 50 dollars. Quality, if using best Sydney yum cha as a 10, is no more than a 5. Best was taro. More than half were Chinese, suggesting there is not much competition in this market. Some of waiting staff are a little casu... View all feedback.

Excellent food and service! pretty busy, so recommend booking! eating is tasty and authentic with internal and external kitchen. we sat outside, which was edible!
We were too late for a meal after a full day in kakadu and had happy enough to press in a fast meal at the end of their service. we sat outside, which was beautiful and had taken our order very quickly. and served drinks. we only shared 3 escapes, because we were not excessively hungry, but they arrived immediately and we enjoyed all 3 dishes. the huhn satay had a very tasty sauce, the scallops were boiled directly with a delicious sauce and the carburized pork kewers were delicious. my only complaining was that when I ordered a second glass chardonnay, I was told that there was no left but a pinot gris offered, first world problem!
Had the breakfast twice amazing tasty eating and coffee, great fast service, atmosphere. very friendly staff
Local friends recommended rubys, glad that they. we started with suppe and duck pancake, both very nice. chefs were mostly specialties, Mongolian bark and sweet and sour pork again both were excellent. service was fast and efficient. would recommend
Service was slow and chaotic, my wife’s entree came shortly after her main sizzling beef in Mongolian sauce, just it wasn’t sizzling. The chicken skewers starter were as tough as leather, the chicken/sweet corn soup bland. My sizzling beef in black bean sauce was sizzling,...but the beef uneatable, so chewy instead of tender. Our first and our last visit.

The service and food were both fantastic! The pork belly and beef shank clay pot fried rice were out of this world, with amazing flavors.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding! It is so delicious that I could eat there every day.
