A traditional Aussie pub at the start of Mitchell street... Did a pub run on Mitchell street and this is a great one to start at.. Ice cold beers and friendly staff... Sit back and take in this great town...
Hotel Darwin seemed like a great place for a tourist to check out! I stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for a meal. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. I tried the buffalo fillet since I hadn't had it before, and it was fantastic, just like all the other dishes. I would definitely return if I'm ever back in Darwin.
I had an excellent large steak sandwich that was incredibly tasty and juicy. The ribs were good too, but the steak sandwich was definitely the highlight of my meal. The interior is cozier than it appears from the outside. They also have great daily specials. I would definitely return just for the steak sandwich!
I tried the tourist sampler, which included emu, crocodile, and kangaroo, and I have to say it was quite tasty overall. There were no strange flavors, and everything was very well prepared. I particularly enjoyed the tenderloin, a thick piece of calamari, and a nice sirloin. I highly recommend giving it a try; you won't be disappointed. The staff were also very friendly!
We enjoyed some cold beers during our visit, and they were refreshing. This place is perfect for watching sports or simply relaxing and people-watching from the front. There’s plenty of outdoor seating too. It’s a spacious venue, and the food was fantastic. The prices were reasonable, especially during happy hour, which is typically from 4 to 6 PM on most days.
