We had booked a birthday party for our daughter at another venue in Darwin (the RSL Club) to celebrate her 17th birthday, along with five of her friends and us. Unfortunately, one of the girls, who is also 17 but under my care for the evening, was refused entry because she wasn't with her own family. We had booked a birthday party for our daughter at another venue in Darwin (the RSL Club) to celebrate her 17th birthday, along with five of her friends and us. Unfortunately, one of the girls, who is also 17 but under my care for the evening, was refused entry because she wasn't with her own family. Apparently, they only allow minors to dine with their family and not to celebrate with friends. This policy seemed quite strict, as they preferred not to host anyone under 18 for celebrations. Despite this setback, the manager's efforts to help us were commendable. The Darwin Hotel's team made the evening special for my daughter, and I wholeheartedly recommend them for any celebration. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making my daughter’s birthday memorable!
Excellent service! The staff was really friendly, and the food was outstanding. I recommend the crayfish and the steak with crayfish; both were the best dishes!
A traditional Aussie pub at the start of Mitchell street... Did a pub run on Mitchell street and this is a great one to start at.. Ice cold beers and friendly staff... Sit back and take in this great town...
Hotel Darwin seemed like a great place for a tourist to check out! I stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for a meal. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. I tried the buffalo fillet since I hadn't had it before, and it was fantastic, just like all the other dishes. I would definitely return if I'm ever back in Darwin.
