Nestled near the scenic Cannon Hall, this charming pub has quickly become a favorite for families and dog owners alike. Patrons rave about the friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service, often praising the extensive selection of real ales and vegetarian options. Despite some concerns regarding accessibility due to a narrow entrance and limited parking, the restaurant’s cleanliness and welcoming staff shine through. Offering outdoor seating with magnificent views, it’s an ideal spot for post-walk dining. With prices averaging between £10 to £30, this delightful establishment is highly recommended for a satisfying meal in a pleasant setting.

It is difficult to provide a rating for the atmosphere of this restaurant, as we attended a wake and found the space to be cramped and challenging for guests to navigate. The restaurant does not accommodate elderly or disabled individuals, as the entrance is narrow and has steps. The parking situation is not ideal, as the carpark behind the restaurant has a steep incline that may be difficult for those with mobility issues. Additionally, there is only roadside parking available on the narrow road in front, which can be unsafe for individuals using wheelchairs or those with limited mobility. There is no lowered access point for wheelchairs or prams.
