Ordered a take away roast dinner yesterday and collected it today. It was so delicious. The roast potatoes were beautifully crispy, the beef was tender and not too much fat, the beef was all lovely and it even came with stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and pig in blanket. The gravy was tasty and all round I was just really impressed. It was an amazing lockdown treat and I will deffo be ordering again View all feedback.
What 53sairaa doesn't like about The Ship:
I was informed by a friend that this restaurant has a poster glorifying slavery displayed on its wall. Seeing this was deeply disturbing for my friend, and as a resident of Kent, I am highly disappointed. It is not only embarrassing but also troubling to see people proud of such a dark period in history. The right response would be to remove the poster, but as a person of color, I will not even consider using the bat... View all feedback.
Definitely a white only pub. Not welcomed politely if your a person of colour. You will get id'd for coke cola and still not served. Which is to bad, our group wouldve spent a couple hundred on drinks. Avoid and go to the Star at Sidcup Place instead that place is great.
First time at this pub, Harvey's ale on tap, can't be bad. Nice garden for families. Give it a look.
My 1st time at this pub I really enjoyed it with my friends. Food drink with friends what more can i wish for.
A nice local pub. We have been here twice for food, sadly on both occasions we were told sorry no food today. On a positive note the staff are friendly and it had a good local atmosphere with a great beer garden and large carpark. We have been back since for drinks.
Kids enjoyed garden and nice friendly service thank you.
