we visited a few weeks ago a meal. the interior decor of the restaurant was beautiful, as well as the service we have received from the personal. the food was good and was also well represented, although we could not find out which ingredient my partner had a small allergic reaction. we would still feed there again! What User doesn't like about The British Raj:
Ordered a takeaway for 6.10pm. Arrived at 5.05pm! Then to add insult to injury it was cold and had to be reheated before we could eat it. We have used this restaurant on many previous occasions and been happy with the quality of food and the delivery. Not this time. Poor. Will probably not use again. View all feedback.
We have had chicken tikka Missilla 3 times in the last month, it's absolutely amazing definitely the best flavours ever! also the guys that work there are so helpful worth 5 stars and more x keep up the good work
The price on the phone was not the same as when it arrived. Apologised even though it was £10 more on arrival. Would not recommend this place at all... other local places so much better. Polash in dartford
Forgot main dish on order, rung up to let them know and not even a sorry or acknowledgement
Told the food would be 45 mins. Despite calls after an hour was told food would be 3/4 mins so lied to. After 1hr 25 called to cancel as too late and they didn't seem to care neither did the driver that knocked 5 mins later. What a shame, the raj isn't what it used to be and we've been customers for 20 years. If they had been honest at the start could have accepted it but lied to completely.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! Had a party of 6 to order for, for a special occasion. Ordered no problem via just eat. However, when we received our food, the order was completely wrong. Only 2 participants in the party had received their correct order but the rest of us had missing mains and had sent starters instead due to apparently on their receipts, it reads something completely different to what you order. When we rung the restaurant, we was told they would send out the correct order. When the delivery driver arrived, they had sent out the exact same thing that we told them that was wrong!! And the driver had a very bad attitude towards me too. Also told us to contact the restaurant to speak to the manager for him to liaise with just eat and the manager told us he could not do that. We ordered at 20.30pm and only 2 of us had eaten by 21:30pm. At 23:00 4 of us still hadn’t had dinner!! Would not recommend this restaurant at all and the customer service is appalling. A full refund would have been appreciated as the majority of us have not had dinner and the total was quite a lot of money but was told it wasn’t possible! Just eat aren’t very helpful either!
