This is just perfect place, modern, friendly, just what the town needs. A lovely variety of good quality drinks and snacks. I work with Adults with learning disabilities we are regulars, we are always made to feel welcome the confidence that you see now with our members when they are being severed. Thank you for making a special experience for them. View all feedback.
What bridget t doesn't like about Esquires Coffee:
Visited 28/5/22 for a tea and ham sandwich, I was charged £8.80, steep, but I thought surely it will come with small amount of crisps/side salad, crusty bread? No, sliced bead with one slice of processed ham. Wont be going there again, other places in town much better value and service with a smile. View all feedback.
Today I visited Esquires in Dartford where I ordered a cooked breakfast and a hot drink, I asked for certain items to be cooked in a certain way. The venue was fairly busy as it was inclement weather and market day. After I ordered the polite staff members on duty requested me to take a seat and they would bring my order to me. I didn't have to wait long and my order was delivered to my table just as I had ordered and was hot, tasty and presentable. I found the price competitive if not slightly cheaper than other local cafe's/deli's. After I had finished the crockery and cutlery was removed and I was asked if I required a further drink as I was working on my laptop. A further drink was brought to me. I found the staff extremely professional and the food 10/10 This is about the 6/7th time I have visited and always found it a welcoming, clean and warm place to eat and catch up on my laptop. I will definitely visit again
Weekday lunchtime visit. Dirty tables, unhelpful and unfriendly staff. One dish had poached eggs that were solid. Other dish had a hash brown that was still frozen. After complaining, the hash brown was scraped off the plate, and a replacement dumped on a side plate a few minutes later. Most of the food on both plates was left as it was so bad but the staff didn’t even bother to ask why the food was left. A new Starbucks is due to open and local Facebook groups are moaning saying that we should support local independent cafes (Esquire’s was even mentioned) after this car crash of a visit I’d be surprised if they have any customers left once Starbucks opens.
“Soup of the day” was a can of Heinz tomato soup. For £5. Bread? £2.50 extra. So I went for a cheese and ham toastie. Plastic cheese and wafer thin ham on thin sliced bread. Luke warm coffee. Poor quality and over-priced.
We had a lovely afternoon with delicious coffee and carrot cake. Very friendly and welcoming Staff. Highly recommend!!
