The server was attentive and accommodating and said the chef happily made changes to the proteins for us. Bonus was walking through the gardens at dusk and enjoying the exotic plants and birds. We will definitely be back and will be telling friends about this hidden gem.

Answering a... read more First let me say we were so happy to be able to get back into Latils Landing. The pre designed meal was amazing! Our waiter Josh was a perfect host. Answering all our questions. And giving us a peak at future plans on menu changes. And his choice for the classic rock music made it all exceptional! We can't wait to come back for dinner under the oaks in a few months. 5 stars all around!

Latil's Landing Restaurant at Houmas House Plantation and Gardens gave my wife and I more than just an incredible dinning experience, but also a memorable night... read more Latil's Landing Restaurant at Houmas House Plantation and Gardens gave my wife and I more than just an incredible dinning experience, but also a memorable night that we will always be able to look back on with a smile. Also, before dinner we participated in the Houmas House Untold Ghost Stories tour, which is exclusive to certain dates and times in the month of October. This tour truly captured the essence of the Plantation grounds and gave historical background on many people and objects associated with the Houmas House. There is also a general historical tour of the Houmas House throughout the majority of the year and no matter what tour you might partake in, I would highly recommend taking a tour before eating because it really sets a nice tone for the dinning experience. It can be a bit of a pricey experience, but it's definitely worth saving up some money for if your looking to have an amazingly unforgettable experience. Again, because of the Houmas House and the people that maintain it and keep it's spirit alive, my wife and I were able to create a memory we will never forget. Thank y'all for everything and you can bet that we will be back again one day, but until then take care.
