The cakes here are interesting and you have view of the sea. Must try the San Rival cake, its traditional and interesting taste a bit like the Thai sticky rice in bamboo. View all feedback.
What E doesn't like about Sans Rival Cakes Pastries:
Good location I must say. But not a fan of their quick bites. Mustard dip a bit watery. Coffee it’s ok. If you like to hang out in the evening after dinner, this is the place. View all feedback.
Place gives off a touristy feel. Food is good. Although wait time to get a table inside takes a while.
It was love at first bite! Most cakes taste so good! We want to try all cakes and all meals on the menu, but we have very limited time here in Dumaguete. I will definitely come back here, especially for dessert! The interior of the restaurant looks really nice. It's a cozy place even though there's a lot of customers. Staff are very accommodating. Toilet is clean.
During my 2 day stay in dumaguete, visted this place thrice for full meals. The only thing i did not like was the last encounter with the owner (seems like it) when i went back to get my bag from the resto, and she questioned me immediately whether we had lunch at the restaurant after i told her i bought takeaways from their other shop (for pasalubong). The manner of questioning was uncalled for, even if the customers are dressed plainly.
Sans Rival Cakes Pastries Restaurant is the equivalent of 50's Dinner in Baguio. The servings are really good for a hungry traveller. Place is awesome and is a walking distance from the sea boulevard. The silvanas that they offer is really really awesome! For the sandwich, if you are not fond of chewy bread, don't go for Sans Rivals Club sandwich.
