What Sandra Keßler doesn't like about Villetta da Angelo:
since 9 months I am regularly there for lunch. always delicious and satisfied. very cheap card on midday. service in the regular pleasant. Five stars. but the corona rules are almost not observed. mask in the ristorant team okay. but that was it. no contact lists and currently often less than 1 meter. also not inside. View all feedback.
A small cozy restaurant with waiter that cannot treat too many people at once. eating, especially appetizing and pasta were very tasty, although the pasta dishes were really small.
Very good food with very good service and very comfortable, especially if they can sit outside in their terrace behind the house. the owners are absolutely fantastic and very welcoming, this is also shown by them always (in our experience), a beautiful small...Amuse beech (only much bigger than in frankreich maybe some air-dried ham and olives and sun-dried tomatoes or a few parmesan. the menu is good with the usual choices. the pizza is very generously doubled (maybe even and absolutely no problem if the menu does not offer its own choice. it always feels special to go there and we often get a little schnapps or limoncello on the house before leaving. the best reception in darmstadt and surroundings.
On a busy road that connects eberstadt with a mining town, there is this small piece of italiens. the interior of the restaurant looks somewhat more Germanic, but the seats al fresco offer a more Mediterranean impression, which is also reflected in the excellent kitchen. the suggestion of the cook that appears in the menu is especially worth considering the fish dishes. also a beautiful weinlist and most employees are Italian and German, some also English. they are welcoming, professional and inexpressible.
I was here several times together with the friends who were recommended to me the place and never disappointed. the already large number of menu choices is enriched by the fresh choices of a display cabinet that really allows them to see what they are going to eat. These fresh choices include juicy steaks as well as fresh fish and I think they are a guarantee for customers, as they may not find what they expect, but at the same time what they find is certainly rewarding. Of course, it may not be cheap, but in my case it was always worth investing for quality.
Even after more than 5 years in this area, Angelo is unbeaten for me. We had a divine veal chop with aspargus and tiramisu to die for. For me, there was fettuccine with porcini as a starter. Wonderful. We were given the honor to try...some of the grappas, and felt like a part of the family. If you are in for the food and hospitality: this is for you.
