The Hotzenplotz is one of the many small pubs in Darmstadt, which is also the main beginning of many students. I ate a pizza button here to say that the store is known to make a lot of garlic on his pizzas. Accordingly, I had a lot of garlic on the pizza knobi. Since I am garlic, I had to try it out and say that I was very happy. The day was crispy and tasty and everything else was also good. These are cherry liqueurs with lemonade in a champagne glass, which in turn is filled with apple wine in a 0.5L or 1L beer basket. So apple wine and cherry liqueur mix only when drinking. It may be that it is not everyone, but who is very interested in experiments should try this in any case. For those who love apples, this should be a must at least once. Unfortunately, I have to take a few points for the service. I had the feeling that the waiter had no wish at all, was not the fastest and gave us the menu and drinks only on request. He wanted to pick up drinks before we had the card and we've never been here. You can do this for regulars, but then you should ask if you're here for the first time.

Nice bar with decent prices. The service was very attentive and quickly replaced the empty glasses with full.
Suitable prices, friendly hosts and a wide selection of cocktails, beers, spirits etc. Even food is possible at 10:00. The pizzas are homemade and taste very delicious. I have a little criticism of the size of the cocktails. The cocktails cost about 6€ to 8€, but the glasses are unfortunately relatively small. On weekends you should book a table. Otherwise it's hard to find a place.
A very nice place to have one or two with your friends near the technical university and the city centre in Darmstadt. Do try a Laternchen if you visit this restaurant!

A few meters from the Darmstadt uni, you can find pizza (not horrible but it can barely being called so) and classical German food. A bit disappointed by the schnitzel, clearly industrial . Nice fries and salads. Worth for a beer but the food was a...bit under my expectations.
