Feedback
This place is spot on for a DFAC. Many food options, plenty of seating, nice building and waterfront. I was impressed.
This food is so much better then Camp Lejeune. I mean common USMC. I retired in 2016 and was used to getting soggy chicken wings and a salad Buffett run by people with autism. By autism I mean an E5 Navy SK got njp for hooking up with a disabled person. This chow is great. I do believe management needs a kick in the butt for only keeping one elderly white person on the pizza area while the usual Filipino Mafia and crew get to chit chat on the food line not even caring to offer a helping hand. I had a female 04 and male 05 agree with me on this watching her bust her butt. Great food needs better leadership. Oh yeah the views the bees knees.
Original review below, new review updated as of May 2024: Brought my military brat with me and we both had personal pizzas. She had cheese and I had margherita. We couldn't finish them, they had bad flavor. Mine didn't even have basil, it was pesto on it instead. We threw them away. Such a shame as we are usually pretty easy going with food. Original review below: I came here to check it out as a retiree living in the area. It's regular chow hall food but the view is really great. I would return here for another meal. Many other base chow halls do not have it this nice.
Love taking advantage of my military privileges. Good food...and dining in the ocean is beautiful.
