Nestled in a local neighborhood, this restaurant boasts a welcoming atmosphere despite its outdated decor. Patrons rave about the delicious food, including standout dishes like tuna tartare and fish and chips, but experiences with service have sparked concerns. Diners report long waits for meals and inconsistencies in quality, with some dishes failing to impress, such as the lackluster lobster bisque and overly greasy sandwiches. While the restaurant has seen ups and downs, loyal guests appreciate its cozy charm and strong community vibe, often finding themselves drawn back for the comforting flavors and friendly service that characterize this establishment.

I had a wonderful lunch with four friends. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. As for parking, the lot is small but sufficient for lunchtime patrons.

I don't know how you can mess up a Cobb salad, but it was completely inedible—I actually sent it back. The chicken was so rubbery that it was impossible to bite, and it was overwhelmed by onions, which was pretty much the only flavor. I've never heard of using Bermuda onion in a Cobb salad, and my sister is a restaurant critic! The Peremidh used to be our favorite dish on the menu, but now it was hard, dry, and only a quarter of the size it was last year. Even the French fries were inedible. I don't get out very often anymore, and this was meant to be a special day, but it turned into a major disappointment. I'm very sad about this experience.

I ordered a cup of lobster bisque, but it had no lobster flavor at all, and it cost $9. The Reuben sandwich was so greasy that I had to use beverage napkins from the bar to soak up the excess grease. The fries were also disappointing. Rory's used to be a fantastic spot, but now it’s just a shadow of its former self, with lackluster staff and subpar food. It’s truly disappointing.

Went here on a casual date during the week and really enjoyed it! Very homey feel and super small dining room, only 12-15 tables (additional patio seating in good weather). Super friendly staff and excellent food! The steak was as good as (if not betterthan) one from a top notch steakhouse, just a shame it was only on the specials and not a regular menu item. We also tried thelobster bisque based on other?s recommendations but we didn?t love it like we hoped to. Maybe just a matter of preference but wethought it was too tomato-y. Lobster was cooked well tho, not chewy. Really enjoyed our dinner/visit and look forward to goingback for another meal!

We were on our way back from NYC and I Googled restaurants and Rory's came up. We were REALLY glad it did. We sat outside in glorious weather, super relaxed atmosphere and the food was SUPERB! I've dreamed about that lemon butter sauce on the chickensince eating there.
