This chain take-out place, located in the food court at Amtrak's 30th Street Station, offers fresh salads. You can choose one on the menu (e.g., Cobb salad or Chicken Caesar) or select the ingredients you'd like, to have your salad personalized with a variety of greens, cheeses, proteins, etc. They have sandwiches as well but, per their name, their salads are the main deal. What Fishgrease Jenkins doesn't like about Saladworks:
I wish I would have read the reviews before I stopped here. I wanted a healthier option and didn’t want a smoothie. The worker was in the back on her phone and didn’t seem pleased I came to place a order. The options are quite limited and the worker’s demeanor was quite off putting. Hunger got me this time as I was tempted to walk away. View all feedback.

Loved this place. Ate here multiple days while I was in town. The food seemed clean and healthy.
Went to grab my pickup order and the employee was sitting in the back. I asked for my order and she said “oh I didn’t see it” and ripped off the receipt from the register. They literally have almost nothing. No rolls, no toppings, no parm. It shouldn’t have let me order anything without inventory. Do better.
I love salad works typically but this was not it. The first question I was asked was if I wanted my dressing on the side (which I said no) and when the employee gave me my order I saw no dressing so I asked, and the dressing is on the side? She said, no it 's mixed in. She didn 't acknowledge the mistake and the salad was soaked with dressing. I wouldn 't recommend this location. I 'm also seeing now that past reviews about moldy food were not acknowledged.
I went on Saturday to buy a salad and there was no one serving. It's not the first time it's happened, in fact it's happened to me 3 or 4 times before. I ordered the new Summer Berries salad but the lady told me they were out of Berries noon . Disappointed, I used to love these salads, but having to go to the Station, park and have to wait 10 minutes for someone to deign to serve me makes me not come back.
