Philly Sunnyside Diner - Darby Township

I literally just spent $26 in here today 1/27/24 they toasted more so burnt my bread on my breakfast sandwich without asking scrambled eggs were runny af French toast is dry and taste old bacon taste weird only thing good was the coffee and home fries

Yeah, it’s a no for me…. The eggs and hash browns were decent, but the cream chipped beef was runny and tepid. Staff was friendly, and service was prompt, but that’s about it. Big fire hazard with boxes all over the restaurant. Characters in this sunny side Brewerytown neighborhood, but it is what it is…

What I was looking for. Generous portions of delicious diner food. Sassy, friendly service.

A customer returned to the restaurant complaining that the coffee was weak. The Asian woman said, “That’s the way it comes out, no refund!” The customer said, “I don’t want a refund! I just thought you wanted to know, as the owner of this establishment, what you were serving your customers.” Then she went outside, poured the coffee out and dropped the cup. After witnessing this, I noticed the customer was right. My “coffee” tasted as she described: like creamer, sweetener, and water. But then again, I like hot water.

On 9/19/23. I ordered a veggie omelet, side of turkey bacon and small coffee. And I disputed the bill. The Asian lady at the register wanted to argue, so I began to record. She charged $18+ to my card. She finally realized, not this one, and returned nearly $5.00 in cash. It got tense. There IS more! I just don't have space here to write a full report!
