My loup is a quaint little cozy spot. The service really shines here. It’s a bit loud for a fine dining spot, but they work with it. We ordered a handful of items and they were all good. The escargot roll is amazing as was the sourdough. My family loved each of the selections. The servers were fun and interactive. They were busy but definitely made you feel like they wanted to be present with you and give an individu... View all feedback.
What Robert Gunn doesn't like about My Loup:
Food was very expensive for what it felt like we got (some dishes very good eg crudo and croquette, most were solid but uninspired — eg fish and chips were very normal and duck main had a muted flavor. Drinks very good but will cost you. Ambiance is very scene y if you want that good place to bring someone on date night to impress eg but not for the food. View all feedback.
We opted for the chef’s tasting menu, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was thoughtfully curated and packed with flavor, and we couldn’t resist adding a few more plates to our order—every bite was worth it! The restaurant has a cool, unpretentious vibe that makes you feel at home. The staff were not only attentive but also incredibly fun and cool, which made the evening even more enjoyable.
Don't eat lunch before you go! An amazing spot for creative cocktails, inspired starters and entrees. Desserts weren't my favourite but I was stuffed on amazing food by then anyway. Very attentive staff.
Really delicious food. The plating might not be the fanciest, but each element is essential to the dish. If the lettuce were removed from the crab, or the basil missing from the pickle jar, then the dish would be lacking something. Even the hardboiled egg adds texture. In my opinion, that’s the point that a creation is “complete”. No extraneous components. The flavors are strong yet balanced. The aioli’s super garlicky yet doesn’t overpower the shrimp. The dishes have plenty of acidity for brightness, yet nothing screams sour. My Loup also achieves balance by playing around with contrasts: hot and cold, creamy and crunchy. Good stuff. Service and atmosphere are wonderful. Waitstaff were really helpful in deciding what to order. I hear they’ll help tailor your meal if you go for the carte blanche.
The food, vibe , atmosphere and staff are incredible. Special shout out to Alyssa for creating an awesome menu for us and a great playlist. Pro tip: if you're dining her with a date, bar seating is the way to go!
Absolutely love this place! I went here to celebrate my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised by the food, and especially the service. FOOD
