I've lived right down the road from Maria's for 4 years and never went in. I assumed it was a fancy upscale restaurant (it is) my sister and I stopped in Sunday after a Long very hot day of moving and boy did that make the day! First the atmosphere is amazing. It's like a pub, restaurant, high class dining rolled into one! Second the employees are amazingly awesome! It's family run and they made us feel like part of... View all feedback.
What Electra S doesn't like about Maria's On Summit:
I came here twice this week to pick up food for my Ma. Pasta and clams were good enough to eat but the strawberry shortcake apparently didn’t even taste like strawberry shortcake and the icing tasted cheap and overwhelming. Today got a lasagna and it’s terrible… there is hardly any meat inside of it, it’s mostly sad soggy noodles, disgusting. It’s swimming in a pasta sauce, tastes like pizza cheese and pizza sauce, very cheap. Each meal is roughly around 20 dollars and i feel like they’re robbing us. Guys it’s so bad that it makes Stouffer’s Lasagna with Meat seem like authentic Italian, know what I even think Olive Garden is better! My Ma couldn’t even finish it so basically it’s going in the trash, it’s that bad.
Everything is excellent especially if you pick the right night to go for me it's Sunday and
Servers are very polite and attentive. Caprese salad is a new fave!
My wife and I always enjoy the food service and atmosphere. We do like the Italian background music of Sinatra etc that reminds me of the Italian restaurants I was raised in during the 70s and 80s.
Love the place but lasagna was very average compared to some of their other entrees. Decent wine list.
