Kurry Shack - Darby Township

I was really excited to try this place…didn’t even wait for food to be ready before leaving (I even paid for it…oh well, good bye 14 bucks).The cook didn’t have gloves on, his mask was below his chin when he started to cook. Before pulling the mask over his mouth, (didn’t even cover his nose) he scratched his nose a few times). The other person working the register didn’t have a mask at all (mandated to wear indoors in Philly).The place was dark and uninviting

AMAZING!!! I came in here for the first time yesterday and had a great experience. Not only was the chef really nice and made the food in front of me, but I had the best Chicken Tikka Masala I’ve ever had in my life. Not even kidding. And the Garlic Naan was mouth watering. The chicken was fall off the bone delicious and the tikka masala had rich beautiful flavor. Perfect amount of spice. I will be coming back 1000%.

Such a pleasant surprise to find this place! Definitely my new go-to! incredible flavors very friendly chef. Placed our order at 9:00pm and received freshly baked naan and the best curry I've ever had. so fresh! Other places might give you something reheated or day-old at that time of night, but not here. Plus, it's even better the next day for lunch! great experience! Highly recommend! PS, we were informed to expect upgrades coming to the restaurant in terms of ingredients, prices, dishes, and service. Win, win!

Looking for good Indian food.. look somewhere else. Tasteless food. All the curries are mashed together and there’s no distinct flavor. Everything is bland.

Consistently ordered from this place only to arrive at the restaurant and they are not even open. Incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
