I visit this coffee shop on the daily. They have a roast to suit every palate. Offer regular coffee, espresso, latte, flavor shots. You can customize your coffee. They offer pastries and sandwiches, bagels. Fruit Smoothies, energy drinks flavored water. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Free WiFi, comfortable seating, great background music. What Jenine Elhindi doesn't like about Double Shots:
Two young girls running the shop alone. i ordered 5 croissants with nutella and one bagel qith cream cheese. They didnt know there was no cream cheese left so i opted for another croissant and with nutella and she only gave me 4. Didnt use gloves and kept touching her nose. Very unorganized and messy place. My husband was a fan of the warm coffee especially on a freezing day.
My favorite coffee house in Old City Philadelphia, great atmosphere, plenty of seating, even a giant conference table in the establishment. Nice music system, good selection of music; but that 's an opinionated view. Right across from the passport office, easy to find. Great Pizza joint around the corner,Margherita Pizzeria. :
I heart this place!! Growing up in the pre-Starbucks 90s where coffee shops were grunge -esque bastions of cheap food and caffeine that you and your friends just hung out in. (Think I heard Pearl Jam, Sarah McLachlan and like then Erika Badu here one day). This place (and like it 's spiritual Philly sister, The Last Drop) keep that vibe alive. If you are a writer or a student it 's a place to try. Clean, nice baristas, super chill.
