Brü Craft Wurst - Darby Township

Server was so sweet but the hostess was rude and didn't acknowledge our reservation which was supposed to be outside and she sat us inside.

After making a reservation one week in advance for two couples (Open Table), I called the day before to request a table away from the extremely noisy area around the bar, I spoke with xxxxx who assured me she would save a table for us, and that she would be working. When we arrived she informed me she had forgot and only had one table left...next to the bar. We spent the entire meal trying to hold a conversation above the deafening noise. It was a horrible experience! If it hadn't been a Saturday evening (and no other restaurant to go to), we would have walked out.

Service was horrendous. We had a reservation and were seated by the hostess and then waited for 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table no water, nothing. When we finally got a server’s attention, she took another 5 minutes to come take our order for drinks or food. While we were sitting there for 25 minutes we noticed that no tables had food, several tables were unsuccessfully trying to get their server’s attention, and one table asked for the manager with what seemed like some angry complaints. I don’t usually review restaurants, but this experience was terrible and no one working in the restaurant, including management, seemed to care. The food was good when we finally received it, however we got the wrong food the first time and had to ask for silverware and napkins. We will not go back.

We had a table for 8 to celebrate a birthday at BRU. Everything was good except for the service. The waitress took 10 mins to come by the table initially and it went downhill from there. We had to wait another 30 mins for her to come back for food orders. Food came out in a reasonable time, but we were missing the birthday girl’s dinner. The waitress did not come back to check on us until she brought the check. I had to go up and tell her at the kitchen that the dinner was missing. She did apologize and comp us for it but, it was a disappointing experience.

Smash Burgers were a hit, but the schnitzel and spätzle were just ok and pretty greasy. Our waitress was very nice, but hard to find when we needed her. A great place for young people, it was very loud inside and the bar scene looked fun if you were in your 20s or early 30s.
