Dined on a Friday evening. Appreciated the BYOB. However, the food was not appetizing. The ‘colossal’ shrimp cocktail was really bad. Frozen small shrimp with cold marinara sauce (no horseradish). The Caesar salad was over dressed and the clams and linguini had no flavor whatsoever. Would not recommend this place if you appreciate tasty food. In all fairness, the eggplant pizza looked good. The food and service were excellent. The best fried tomatoes I've ever had! Cash only was the only drawback they do have an ATM onsite.
I had crab gravy, which was so good. My cousins had pork milanese shrimp salmon. Food was delicious, service was excellent. They had a special pizza with ricotta, prosciutto fig, I took that home to enjoy tomorrow. I highly recommend this place.
We passed by a little after 3 and the lady outside cleaning the sidewalk was so nice and welcoming, when we walked in we were immediately greeted and handed our menus and seated, we had the chicken parm and the roma pizza which were both delicious would recommend to anyone visiting or living in philly
This is a hidden gem in far South Philly. The atmosphere is a window into a time I loved.
Only thing that is decent is the pizza. Everything else is overpriced. Also was so hot in there I almost fainted.
