Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Daphne

This restaurant offers a variety of vegan options. Most smoothies are vegan, and the sandwiches, wraps, and bowls can be made vegan by omitting bacon, cheese, and mayonnaise. They also offer hummus as an additional option. For breakfast, they have a peanut butter banana crunch flat cake available without honey. My personal favorite is the buffalo chicken wrap made with vegan chicken, and served with chips and a sunflower smoothie.

The drive-thru staff at this restaurant are fantastic! It was my first time there, and my friend wanted something with bananas and peanut butter. No problem at all. She absolutely loved it!

I have had the chance to meet many franchise owners in my line of work, but none have stood out quite like the owner of this particular restaurant. Despite seeming overwhelmed and working alone, she was unable to provide a clear answer when asked about the closing time. This lack of organization and attention to detail should not impact the overall success of the business.

Thank you for a nice lunch. Your employee at the drive through was nice and opened the lobby when I told her that it was closed, but there was no sign (which is annoying to find out after you?ve parked and unpacked your stroller only to have to walk back to the car to pack it up to go through the drive through). But when I was enjoying my lunch in the grass I saw that other families were going in and they had opened the doors which was good. That?s my only negative feedback just put up a lobby closed sign if closed. Great location with nice grass to sit and eat in the sunshine.

On my lunch break today I decided to try something new. So, I stopped by to give this place a try. They are getting 1 star for several reasons. The wait was about 15+ minutes for a smothie, wrap, and jalapeño corn at the drive thru with no cars in front of me. The employee at the window took my money then several minutes later proceeded to charge me again before giving me the wrong order. I had to clarify that I not only already paid but just got handed the wrong order. Few minutes later I get the correct food portion of the order and the employee says have a nice day. Um....I need my smoothie! I get an eye roll and oh yeah! Now let 's talk about the product. I ordered a kiwi quencher smoothie that has more strawberry than kiwi. The jalapeño corn was delicious and the best thing about the visit.The wrap had so much cajun sauce the horseradish taste was overpowering; I couldn 't eat it. Overall, I feel like I wasted $15 and 30 minutes of my day!
